TEACHING AND LEADERSHIP STYLE
I am a transformational, servant leader that attempts to lead by example. I believe that anything worth doing deserves and requires your best effort. There are no quick fixes, just diligence and hard work. Science tells us that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. What you put into a program, you will reap. I place a major importance on campus culture, vision and stakeholder ownership. I believe in being a "Multiplier" of quality educators by being an integral part of the campus staff.
Servant Leader

Collaboration is one of the greatest tools in education. As a teacher, I strive to be a lead learner on my campus that facilitates great learning and promotes the sharing of vision and ideas. As a successful math teacher, I am always learning and work hard to try something new every year. I love learning from other educators who have great success.
Shared Vision

I believe that all teachers are capable of learning new strategies for engaging students, and will thrive in this process if they can discover true value in terms of student learning and engagement using appropriate technology. I have found that math is more fun when I can incorporate technology with my students. As an Algebra 2 teacher, I will:
1) help students find value in digital tools that are proven to enhance learning, while streamlining educational tasks/processes,
2) use digital tools for students to share the math that is around them,
3) provide just-in-time support, empathy, resources, and tips/tricks to keep students motivated without overwhelming them in the process.
